Margie with a hard G really doesn't appeal to me, but I like Margie MAR-jee a lot.
My favourite nicknames for Margaret are Marlo and Daisy, personally. I absolutely hate Maggie. Greta's nice, though, and Margo's okay. Meg and Meggie get a bit too close to Maggie, though. D:
