YOUR FAMILY:
Names and ages of all family members:
DH: Daniel Aldric (35) - architect
DW: Lillian Rose (34) - teacher
Uncle: Kain Matthew (39) - does odd jobs, Lily's brother, stays over frequently
Uncle: Christopher Brook (37) - photographer, Lily's brother, stays over frequently
Uncle: Lucas Samuel (29) - moderately mentally challenged, Lily's brother, lives with us
DD: Winter Annora (15)
AS: Victor Dominic (16)
AD: Kathryn Ariel (16)
Details about your current children, if there are any (so that we can find a good sibling):
Winter is fifteen years old. She is our biological daughter, and inherited a neurological disease from Lily, weakening her legs somewhat. She is very determined, however, and aspires to become a professional dancer to prove CMT can be overcome.
Victor, sixteen, was adopted when he was fourteen with his twin sister Kathryn. He has many emotional and behavioral problems, and attends the county alternative school due to being expelled from the mainstream highschool. He enjoys dancing, which he took up at Winter's begging, as well as partying, music, and basketball.
Kathryn, sixteen, was adopted at fourteen. She too has many emotional problems, and also attends the alternative school to help control her outburts of anger. She enjoys writing, house design, and listening to music. She is considering going into architecture.
Where do you live?: The United States, in the country. We live in a seven-bedroom, three-story, renovated farmhouse on six acres of land.
Do you have any pets? What kind and temperament?:
Adonis (chocolate male), Alcyone (yellow female), and Ariadne (black female), Labrador Retrievers
All have very gentle, yet energetic, temperaments.
Spock, Seven, Data, and Tuvok, cats
Spock (brown tabby, male) is very aloof, rarely spending time with us. Seven (orange tabby, female) is curious, but not overly affectionate. Data (grey and white, male) is the most affectionate of the cats, and the most patient. Tuvok (black) is also very aloof. They suit their Star Trek namesuits well.

Congratulations!
Congrats to Lily and Daniel, as well as all their children – we have found you a son!
Mikhail Maiorov is a 14-year-old boy born in London to Russian parents. He speaks good English, but his mixture of Russian (from his parents) and British (from his hometown) accents is quite recognizable. Mikhail has a difficult time attaching to other people, especially adults, as his parents figured he could raise himself and he spent a lot of time on the streets. He is very independent and intelligent, though his academic grades wouldn't show this! He is quite the lady's man but has kept his virginity even through his street life. We think that he will really enjoy Winter's company and may be able to learn how to dance with her and Victor. We're not sure how he will get along with Kathryn.
It may be difficult to reach Mikhail at first. He likes to keep his distance from adults and usually refuses to obey. However, the reason we chose him for your family is because we believe that Jim's mental disability will make him a little more approachable to Mikhail – and by that we mean that perhaps since Jim is an adult but acts like a child, Mikhail will reconsider his prejudice of adults and maybe have a better time around them.
Being the strong, athletic boy he is, we're pretty sure he will love playing and wrestling with your dogs. He has shown a huge love for big dogs like that, and maybe being able to spend time alone with them, when he can't attach to the human members of your family at first, will feel more at home. He tells us that he would like to keep his surname, Maiorov, as a middle name, but wouldn't mind if you would like to give him another middle name.

Six Months Later...

AD: Kathryn Ariel (16)
AS: Mikhail Maiorov (14)
DDogs: Adonis, Alcyone, and Ariadne
DCats: Spock, Seven, Data, and Tuvok
DSnake: Anificus
Mikhail does indeed enjoy the company of the dogs, and can often be found in the backyard playing with them. He is having trouble opening up to Dan and me, but he and Lucas (AKA Jim, *lol*) are getting along well. He was wary of Chris at first, but soon found Kain's rather immature personality to be safe enough. He and Winter get along well, despite a few minor property disputes, and he looks up to Victor for guidance. He and Kathryn get along okay, but they don't end up spending much time together.
Mikhail sometimes joins Victor and Winter in the dining room, where they practice dancing, but usually prefers to play basketball with Victor and Kain. He has also found himself in a guitar class at his highschool (the regular one), and often spends his free time in his room practicing.
Thank you for blessing our family with Mikhail!

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry about messing up that name! I was gonna go back and check to make sure it was right, but then I decided, "No, I'm sure it was Uncle Jim." Lol! I'm so sorry!

That's okay.
I do have an Uncle Jim... Just not a brother Jim. No problem. It provided some amusement for me to call him that at lunch, anyway. :p
(I based the three brothers off three of my own. The rest was fictional.)

Congrats to Echo and Lilith, as well as their child - we have found you a son and brother!
Dominic Jameson Peters is a seven-year-old boy from Chicago, USA. His parents' relationship was always a little more than rocky, but about a year ago, he witnessed his father killing his mother and baby sister. (The baby sister is in the picture we have of him.) Dominic was very close to this baby sister - she was a sort of outlet for the love he wanted to share but couldn't because his parents ignored him. So when he witnessed these murders, he was extremely traumatized. He doesn't speak much and is often violent towards adults if they tell him what to do.
We have been able to see glimpses of Dominic's past self over the last few weeks. He really likes movies and baseball, and sometimes when he's doing these things (especially if he's alone for a while) he'll open up a bit. We hope this information will be helpful, as usually Dominic throws huge tantrums most of the time.
Thank you for taking Dominic into your home - we weren't sure if he'd be able to find a family! Please update us on this very special boy.

Congrats to Madison and Spencer, as well as their children - we have found you a daughter!
Your new baby girl is a newborn, born just a few weeks ago to an African-American 15-year-old who was raped and impregnated. The mother can't take care of her and leaves the name up to you, although she wants the middle name to be Diana after herself. The baby is half-African-American and half-Caucasian - unfortunately, we do not have any pictures available at this time.
She is a very mellow child, but wakes up frequently during the night. Other than that she is very easygoing and adorable! We're just sure you will all love her.
Thank you for taking her into your home! Please update us, we are especially anxious to find out what you named her.

Congrats to Ian and Miles, as well as their sons - we have found you a daughter!
Miriam Aria Rhodes is going to be 5 years old in 2 months. She is an adorable, sweet girl who loves nothing more than to give hugs. She also loves cuddling small animals, and is very excited to have pets of her own. She has had a hard time understanding the idea of "brothers" but hopefully will catch on soon :)
Miriam was neglected by her single mother, who, after breaking up with Miriam's father, didn't seem to care much about her daughter. Miriam mostly raised herself in her empty home and was almsot totally isolated from people all her life. Suddenly being surrounded by social workers and agents has had a much better effect on her than could be; rather than being scared or violent, she has become quite outgoing and loving. Often, however, she can be overly dependant and kind of a handful that way. Hopefully that will work out okay.
Thank you for taking Miriam into your home! Please tell us how she does, we love her very much.

(we apologize for the large picture)
Nnamdi Chiumbo is a boy from Nigeria who will be turning 5 in a few months. He is generally a happy boy but is very shy towards other people. We found him in a poverty-stricken village, huddled next to his deceased grandfather's week-old body. According to the other villagers, Nnamdi was raised by his grandfather, because a few days after the boy was born, his unmarried parents disappeared. Whether they were eloping, ashamed, or something else, no one knew.
When Nnamdi does speak (which is uncommon) he speaks Igbo. He will need to learn English. He loves cats and small dogs - hopefully Chaka's gentle temperament will help Nnamdi learn to be comfortable around large animals. Nnamdi seems to have a difficult time adjusting to new things and may isolate himself, but we're sure he will come around in time.
Thank you for taking Nnamdi into your home - he is a very, very sweet boy and we're sure he'll get along great with your family. Please tell us how everything goes.
Congrats to Henry, Lydia, and Yeshe!

Thank you so much! As soon as we saw Nnamdi we knew he was meant to be with us :) Luckily i know a few Igbo words as my travels have taken me to Nigeria in the past. Nnamdi hasnt spoken yet but he seems to be quite happy with us and surprisingly enough he has become quite attached to Chaka! Yeshe was surprised that his new brother was around the same age as him as he was expecting a baby; he was quite shy at first but i can just tell they are going to be double trouble!
YOUR FAMILY:
Names and ages of all family members: Jamison Michael "Jamie" (47), Louella Rose "Ellie" (45), Samuel Reuben "Sam" (18), Zachary Rafael "Zach" (17), Milena Rose "Lena" (15), and Kevin Robert (12)
Details about your current children, if there are any (so that we can find a good sibling):
-Sam-
Sam is 18 years old. He is a senior in high school and will be attending a local college next year. He plans to live at home and commute to school. He is pursuing a degree in Equine Management, and plans on owning a horse stable when he is finished school. He is very outgoing and is quite attentive to his younger siblings. He tends to be thoughtful and kind and rarely loses his temper. Sam is skilled at horseback riding, playing the guitar, and writing short stories.
-Zach-
Zach is 17 years old. He is a junior in high school. He wants to travel the world someday, and plans on studying abroad in England or Australia after high school. He wants to become a journalist. Zach is good with words and very knowledgeable about their origins. He enjoys Latin, action movies, and any sort of traveling. Zach is very protective of Lena and Kevin, and best buddies with Sam. He isn't too sure about the addition of another child to the family, but is open to trying to get along well.
-Lena-
Lena is 15 years old. She is a freshman in high school. Her dream is to own a florist shop and work in a huge garden. She enjoys spending time outdoors and is very athletic. Her favorite activities include gardening, horseback riding, hiking, and playing soccer. Lena is sweet and quiet, but very dependable. She would love to have another sibling to love and care for.
-Kevin-
Kevin is 12 years old. He is in sixth grade. He wants to be a professional soccer player when he grows up. He is very good at soccer and knows just about all there is to know about the professional league and its players. He is outgoing and loves to have fun. He enjoys watching movies with his older brothers, playing soccer, and running around the house. Kevin is intelligent, but puts all his effort into his soccer knowledge.
Congratulations!
Congrats to Jamie and Ellie, as well as their children - we have found a son and brother for you!
Emil Dabrowski is an 11-year-old boy from Poland. He was taught English in school, but has a very strong accent. Surely that will fade with time, though. Emil is very friendly towards other boys and we're sure he will love having Kevin around; he also is very athletic and loves to play tennis and rugby. He used to play football (soccer) in the schoolyard when he was younger and would like to pick it up again. You are welcome to give him a middle name, as he is very anxious to "fit in" with his "new American family."
Emil's mother died when he was nine. The father had died when Emil was a baby and he and his mother were extremely close. It was a very hard time for him, and the only thing that helped him go on was his mother's love for horses. They lived on a ranch, raising horses, and Emil and his mother had always been very close to their horses. Wherever Emil was shuffled after his mother's death, he would find time to visit nearby horses, often disappearing only to show up miles away at someone's farm or ranch. He isn't quite as compulsive now, but still shows an extreme dependency to horses. This is one of the main reasons we decided that your family was perfect for him.
Thank you so much for taking Emil in - it means the world to him and us. Please let us know how he attaches to his new life.

Congrats to Nolan and Ellen Kent, as well as their children - we have found a daughter and sister for you!
Vanessa E Hymas is a 13-year-old girl from Seattle, Washington. She is a beautiful, talented girl that loves dogs and will undoubtedly immediately take to Arlie and Asia. She has a blooming gift for pencil drawings (which takes a toll on her grades, as she doodles rather than paying attention) and likes to run track. She says that she would love to learn to play the flute. She also wants her middle name, which is solely an initial, to be changed to match her new family more. Vanessa is very excited to have a family again. As a matter of fact, she has been drawing dozens of pictures with the name "Vanessa Kent" signed in the bottom.
Unfortunately, Vanessa was physically abused by her father and older brother when she was a young girl (before her father put her into foster care at age 7), so she has an attachment issue and mild phobia of men between the ages of 18 and 30. We would advice you to refrain from introducing her to Griffin before she is comfortably settled into her new family. It would be wise to try and find one very close friend to her so that she doesn't feel so alone and scared when she realizes that a young man is in her family - this friend could well beone of her new sister.
Vanessa is extremely anxious to meet her new family! It's been so long since she's felt that she belongs, and we're sure that your family will be perfect for her. Please let us know how she does!

Congrats to Matthew and Marissa Cohen - we have found you a daughter!
(We apologize for the large picture.)
Chava Blomstein-Robertson is a 2-month-old baby girl. She's a bit big for her age, and can be a tad more fussy than the average infant, but is developmentally sound. We're not quite sure of her ethnic descent, as we never met the father, but the mother looked like she was of Jewish ethnicity. Chava does have the mulatto skin of a biracial child, however, so she probably is half African-American.
According to Chava's parents, the two had been living together in Brooklyn, New York for about a year and half when Chava was concieved. Her mother was 4 months pregnant when she and her boyfriend started fighting. By the time Chava was born, they decided that it would be best to split up and put the baby up for adoption.
Chava is a very sweet baby and we're sure she will just be a delight to you. Thank you so much for taking her into your home, and we would love to hear how she's doing.
