Astrid is gorgeous. It's great to see it on a real child. I pronounce it, "ASS-trid." I'm American and I have no idea if Scandinavians would pronounce it differently. No doubt the "ass" sound will drive off some people. But if you can survive that, it's a great name.

I've always thought that Astrid Linnea or Astrid Sofie would make nice combinations.
