[Opinions] Sibset
Today I met the children of my father's cousin:
Valeriano (b)
Davide (b)
Mayra (g)Valeriano is okay, but I'd never use it on my own.
I love Davide, in fact it's one of my favorite names.
Mayra, on the other hand... I find it simply terrible. I'm not sure if they made it up or got it from the Italianized pronunciation of Myra, but I find it throws the whole sibset out of balance. There are several years between each one of them - it's weird to see the progression, from classic but rarely-used name, to another classic but more common one and finally to what around here is certainly a trendy name. What do y'all think?

Maybe they just like classier boy names than they do girl names. I know a lot of sibsets like that. Valeriano's really cool, I think. Davide is nice. Mayra isn't THAT bad imo, at least it has two consonants next to each other, but it does throw it off balance.Reminds me heavily of a sibset I know: Grayson, Joshua, and Clara "Claire," in the upwards progression in quality. I had a discussion with the father though, and apparently that's purely coincidental.
