I know a few Angelas. They're 6, 20-something and 50-something. They go by Gela "JEL-ah", Ang "ANJ" or Angie. angela doesn't feel dated to me. I quite like Angela with nn Gela; it sounds refreshing.
How about: Angela Celeste, Angela Katharine, Angela Janet, Angela Penelope, Angela Florence, Angela Keeley, Angela Nadine or Angela Daphne?
