I like nickname names only if they can stand etymologically on their own.
Becca is not one of those names, so I can't give the thumbs up on it.
And what happens if your daughter simply doesn't like the name
Becca, what if she prefers
Reba, Rebby, or even
Rebecca in full? I don't think you can really nickname backwards (i.e., "
My name's
Becca, but call me
Rebecca"), it's counter-intuitive and most people wouldn't get it at all.
Besides, full names look much better and more professional on résumés, court documents, etc. in my opinion.
As for a full name,
Rebecca is probably your best option, I'm sorry to say. But one name that hasn't been suggested yet (I checked! ;-)) is
Kelebek, a Turkish name meaning "butterfly".
EDIT: + accents
