Sorry, but I read a book about a prostitute named Heidi and have never lost the conotation. There is also a children's book about a German girl Heidi so it makes me think of her too (she wasn't very noce).
The first time I heard it on a real person was when Heidi Klum was dating Flavio Biattore(sp?) and that didn't make me any fonder of the name.
