Welcome everyone to the first round of Mar’s Soap Opera Congrats Game!

We have 16 players including myself and Miss_Smiley and Starshelle will take someone’s place if anyone drops out.

The numbers you picked decided about the random event that you got (1-25) and the got child you got this round (1-10). One option of the 1-10 will always represent not getting a child (because IRL you won’t always get pregnant when you want to either), and the odds of getting a boy or a girl will always be the same (although this round almost everyone got a boy). The random events are fixed, before people start posting, so I do not influence who got what event. I’ll scramble and change the numbers every round.

Note: In you writing you can let ANYTHING happen, besides adding family members. If it affects the make up of the family, please leave a clear note that a family needs to be adjusted (for example: if someone dies, (s)he needs to be removed from the game)

One more note: What you decide about your random event could have consequences for future rounds!

Rules for every round:

Follow the instructions you got from your random event. Those rules (written with your family) have precedence over the general rules for everyone, if they are contradicting. (mostly they can be followed in addition to the normal rules)

The length of the writing is your choice, but I was thinking about around one paragraph, so it’s not too long and not very short either.
