[Opinions] Celebrity triplets
'Hick-hop' star Cowboy Troy Colemanand and his wife Laura welcomed fraternal triplet boys -- Riley Joseph, Reece Jacob, and John Reagan. WDYT of the names? Personally I'm not a big fan of matchy twin/triplet names. But, I like Riley and Reece (prefer Rhys).
The Amazing Race's Kevin O'Connor and his wife welcomed triplets on June 21st. Their names are Brian Sean, Alexis Elaine and Colin Francis.I like Alexis and Colin Francis.Extreme Makeover: Home Edition designer Ed Sanders and his wife Gioia went from parents of one to four on May 5th, when triplets Scarlette, Azure, and Lucia made their arrivals.
They join big brother Max.I like Lucia and Max.

Scarlette, Azure and Lucia - Red, blue and light. I think white would have been better, then they would've had the colors of the American, French, UK, Russian etc. flags. Maybe Alba or Blanche?R.J., R.J. and J.R. sound so retro, fun and just a bit sleazy. I like John but would have preferred Robert, Roger, Raymond or Richard for the R- names.Colin Francis is very nice.

1st set: Think if they're going with a theme, they should see it through. R.J., R.J., and J.R. just seems even more wrong (if possible) than 3 R.J.'s.2nd set: Like Colin Francis and Elaine. Brian Sean just doesn't appeal, and I prefer Alexis on a boy.3rd set: 2 colors (sorta...what's scarlette?) and a saint who had her eyes gouged out? Again, if you're going with a theme, see it through. Scarlet(t), Azure, and Violet would've been great...er, better.

I wonder why the Sanders family picked two color names, and then went with Lucia for the third. And I have to say that Scarlette is a hideous spelling. My eye never sees the word "scar" in Scarlett or Scarlet, but it leaps right out at me in Scarlette. Bleah.I love the name Gioia, though.

That's a lot of triplets. :b I read about Troy Coleman's triplets yesterday, though I have NO clue who he is, lol. I wonder why John Reagan isn't Reagan John, to go with the R.J. theme, which makes me think they'll probably call him Reagan anyway. The only one I like is Reece but I abhor that spelling--Reese is tolerable, but Rhys is by far the best. Overall, I don't like the matchy initials or the trendiness or the names at all. The Amazing Race's Kevin O'Connor and his wife welcomed triplets on June 21st. Their names are Brian Sean, Alexis Elaine and Colin Francis. - Colin Francis is nice, the others are nms. The A, B, C theme is kind of cute but not as original as they may think. Working in a NICU, we see a lot of multiples and the babies are labeled baby "A", baby "B", etc. So makes sense to name baby "A" an A name, and so on, right? :b
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition designer Ed Sanders and his wife Gioia went from parents of one to four on May 5th, when triplets Scarlette, Azure, and Lucia made their arrivals. They join big brother Max. - Max is cute, but I prefer it as a nn. Lucia is ok, but Azure is nms, and Scarlett is fine but Scarlette is just gross.

weirdColin Francis is one of the names I'm considering. I have no idea who those people are though, so I wouldn't care if we had a kid with the same name. :)

I like the name Troy.
Riley Joseph, Reece Jacob, and John Reagan.- Apart from Reece Jacob and Joseph I don't really like them, but I think if you are going to have a matchy sibset then at least give all the kids the same initials in the same order! Why are there two RJ's and then John Reagan?!
Brian Sean, Alexis Elaine and Colin Francis- I don't like any of the names individually, but I like the fact that they aren't too matchy.Scarlette, Azure, and Lucia - I adore Scarlett, but I'm not crazy about the others although they aren't that bad. I like Max.

My two sisters are named Patricia and Pamela, and as children were called Patty and Pammy. Patty is still Patty now that we're adults, but Pammy has become just Pam. Their middle names both begin with a J, Jeanne and Jill. Anyway, my name is Janice Diane, and I can remember a couple of people asking me why my name doesn't begin with a P. Honestly, I don't think that my parents were trying to make a matchy sibset, and the fact that both their names begin with a P and their middle names with a J is a coincidence, if you will. Or I think that my mother maybe liked the way the P names and the J names sounded together, but it was mostly subconscious, kind of. Well, I'm just pointing out that this type of thing isn't always the result of a conscious plan, because I know my parents never thought ahead of time, "If we have daughters, their first names are going to begin with a P, and their middle names with a J." Obviously not, since mine don't.
