Another idea is to find a type of rose tree / bush. I have "
Ingrid Bergman" (red tea) in my garden. Also, "
Gordon Thomas" (yellow, English rose) and "Zephirine Drouhin" (cherry pink climber). If you find a name you like, then you could plant that bush / climber in the child's honor. Just an "out there" thought.
