[Opinions] WDYTO Wendy?
I've never really thought about the name, but when a coworker who recently gave birth named her daughter Wendy, it was brought to my attention.
WDYTO it?

It's a pleasant one that seems to stay fairly even--not becoming a fad and not becoming obsolete. It's said that J.M. Barrie invented the name for Peter Pan, based on a childhood friend he had called "fwendy." I've always wondered, however, if there weren't some Gwendolyns out there called Wendy.
I have an aunt named Wendy whom is really sweet and kind... so that's what I think of when I hear the name Wendy. It's both innocent and mature at the same time and is pleasant to say.
It's actually one of my favorite girl names :-) lol, though I'll definitely never use it - I don't want to make my other aunts jealous! ;P

I think it's a very sweet and refreshing name. Hearing that a new baby girl was named Wendy rather than Madison, Mackenzie, or some strange variation of either one makes me happy beyond belief. I also think Wendy makes an adorable nn for Gwendolen, but it is perfectly fine on it's own as well. Very nice.
It's cute, though kind of ditzy somehow. But it is nice to see it used again. You really don't see it much anymore.
It's my mom's name, and while I wouldn't use it on my own girls, I think it's perfectly acceptable. :)
It's sweet. I wouldn't use it, but it's definetly cute and I'd love to meet a little girl named Wendy. It should make a comeback :D
I like it as a nickname for Gwendolen. I have cousin named this.
I have an aunty with this name. I don't mind it, but I personally wouldn't use it.
