I don't know. It's different ,which I love, but a little too damsel-esque perhaps?

When my mum was pregnant with me, she thought about naming me Demelza, but decided it was a little too "out-there" for the time and wanted to use something Biblical instead. I think it's a nice name, I like it a lot.

Demelza is so incredibly cool-sounding and awesome. I love it. Demelza will be the name of my next female sim.

I grew up in the 70's watching BBC imports like the Poldark series. One of the characters in the 18th century drama set in Corwall was named Demelza. The actress that played her was/is named Angharad. I was introduced to the two names through that show and I still love them both.

I never thought about the nn Demi for Demelza, but it makes perfect sense. Love Demelza. Love nn Demi.

I've got quite a lot of family in Cornwall and I have a distant relative called Demelza, she goes by the nn Elza but I think Demi is nice too. Great name :)
