It's probably one of my top names, but my SO wants nothing to do with it. Hmm, I'm not sure if I can come up with first names for it, though. I much prefer it as a first name. THe only two that came to mind were Francesca Alice and Elinor Alice. :-(

awww! I mourn for you! We must have the same taste because I LOVE Elinor too! What does your SO suggest? I love your ticker.

Frances and Francis have been used on memebers of my family for years and I think that using Francesca would be a great way to honour my relatives. It makes an interesting alternative to Frances, imo. I've actually been thinking about Elanor Alice/Elinor Alice and I'm really liking that combo right now. Thanks for your help and I hope your SO comes round with the name Alice. =)

Even if he did, it would remain low on the list.I much prefer Hebrew names and he much prefers Catholic. :-D Alice would stick out like a sore thumb with Miriam, Judith, Magdalene, or even Ivy.
