Help[Facts] Sara and Sarah
Does anyone know about the differences between Sara and Sarah? When did the two "split?" I know that many countries recognize a difference in pronunciation for the two.

I am called Sarah and pronounce it Serah
but I prefer the spelling Sara pronounced Sah-raah
I always saw Sara as the welsh variant but I dont think it is officially.

I have no idea. As a French girl I am not very familiar with Sara, but here both would be prononced exactly the same way, sah-rah.
And remember, they come from Hebrew, so the "real" spelling only exists in this alphabet. I have seen other forms of Sara / Sarah in older (legitimate, educated) sources.
