Fedora "Dora" is a three year old girl who has been in the orphanage since she was newborn. She is quiet and thoughtful, and likes to play dress-up. Fedora has curly blond hair and brown eyes.

Aloisia is a four year old girl who barely ever speaks. She just came to the orphanage a few weeks ago, after she was found alone and beaten in her suburban home. Her parents, her mother in particular, were physically abusive. The night they left, they beat her up very badly. Thinking she was dead, both of them fled the scene. Aloisia is very afraid that her parents will come back one day, so she doesn't like to go out in public. She has many scars and one of her legs is twisted. Aloisia has light red hair and pale hazel eyes
