The last couple of years have all run pretty smooth for the ever growing Dalton family. Xander and Sarah have put the beginning phases in place to turn their land into a working cattle ranch and they've never been happier.
Thomas is still holding the vice-president job at the architecture firm he's been working at since graduating college, and Evelyn is a full time mum/artist. Her job just got a whole lot harder though with the addition of twins! Henri is very excited, and little Maria doesn't really understand but is fascinated by her new siblings none-the-less.
Lily and Derrick haven't had an easy road in their first years of marriage. Their careers, Lily as an internation pop star, and Derrick's as a music mogul meant that they both travel a lot and this, combined with a few trust issues did see them separate 6 months into the marriage. They reconciled and sought counselling and now experiencing that honeymoon period all over again. And their happiness has just been doubled with the birth of their son.
Isabel and Ryder's careers are both on the up and up. Like Lily and Derrick, the constant travelling has been hard, but they make it work. With the birth of Lily's son, Isabel has started to think that it might be time to put her career on hold, but she's very in demand right now and that won't last forever, but children could wait a little while longer...

Juliet wrote what was to be Ryan's 'come back' film eighteen months ago, and it topped the box office when it was released just a week ago. It was a little strange as it was a romantic comedy starring Ryan as the leading man, and Isabel as the leading lady, but they were able to laugh about it and it's been a great angle for post production advertising.
And then there was the black sheep of the family, the ever troubling Liam. 2 years ago, Xander and Thomas went to New York to find him after he ran away once getting out of Juve. It took them 3 months of constantly travelling to New York and back before they finally found him in a homeless shelter, a shadow of the vivacious child they wished they could remember. He'd become addicted to drugs and, to this day, he's never told his family what he did to earn the money to feed his addiction. They enrolled him in the in-patient facility at the Betty Ford clinic, a programme his siblings willingly paid for. Liam returned to Xander and Sarah's ranch 12 months ago having, hopefully, beaten his demons once and for all. Working on the ranch has done wonders and the family is thrilled to finally be seeing the Liam they remember from 10 years ago, before this all began.
Emily has been most profoundly affected by Liam's return. She's always had a very kind heart, but since Liam returned she's barely left his side. Sarah asked her about it once and Emily simply said that Liam wouldn't do anything bad with her around.
