Yeah, they're both spelled with an 'i' not a 'y', but the sound is the same. Ryker looks awkward, ugly, far too surnameish, and has one very unpleasant and one very sci-fi-fanatic association. I can't see it on anyone at all, and definitely not a young boy.

yeah, same here...

I think of a guy who looks like the Star Trek Captain. Although usually I heard more about Commander Riker.

Lol, very much agree

Except I could see it on a little boy whose parent's met at a Star Trek convention. It'd be better than Warf and Data.
Or as a little brother to SingSing and San Quentin and Al (short for Alcatraz).
