Don't see this posted anywhere, so I hope it isn't a repeat.

1996 Olympic gold medalist Dominique Moceanu had a baby girl on Christmas day. She and her husband Mike Canales named her Carmen Noel. I think it's a lovely choice - classy and not too popular.

Noel is a boy name for me.
I'd prefer Carmen Noelle. Much nicer. :)

I think it's okay. I would expect a baby born on Christmas to have a Christmas-themed name.

Well, I like the mother's name, lol. I've never been a fan of Carmen, but I have to agree that it's refreshing after seeing so many Madison's, Emily's, and Isabella's.

Ooh. I think it's very pretty. I like how they used Noel as the middle name instead of having the Christmas-theme right up front.
