Akasha is from the Anne Rice novel Queen of the Damned.I wouldn't name my child after the Mother of all vampires who attempts to 'save' the world by wiping out most of the men{not followed through though}
If I were to name my daughter after any character in the two Anne Rice novels that I've read,I'd go for Maharet,Mekare,Jessica or Claudia.I'd name a pet Akasha,perhaps.
Jax is a cleaning detergent, if I'm not mistaken

My son's name is Jaxon and we often call him 'Jax' as a nickname.

I like the names. Akasha is a an unusual spelling, perhaps of Acacia. Jax is just a cool name.

Those are interesting names. Neither of them floats my boat, though I think the sound of 'Akasha' is quite nice. I'd prefer Acacia, since I recognise its meaning. Jax seems like a nickname to me, but at least it's not *another* Jack :-)_____________________________________________________________________Elinor"Actually, guns do kill people.
