What are your thoughts on the name Finley (for a male)? Also, which spelling: Finley or Finlay?

I like Finlay for either gender, this spelling is just more visually appealing to, though I tend to like just Finn for a boy.

I think it's a really nice name. I can see it working well for a child and an adult. I much prefer the spelling Finley. The ey looks a lot nicer imo.

I actually like this name more on a girl *waits to get virtual beatdown*I prefer Finley on a girl and Finlay for a boy myself. Names with the -ley suffix, try as a few individuals might, will pretty much always be feminine.

I love it even though it seems to be increasing in popularity here. I've met quite a few litle Finley's and my friend's fiancée recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Finley nn Finn. I definitely prefer Finley over Finlay although I can never choose between Finnian and Finley. Anyway, I think if I ever used any of those names, he'd mostly go by Finn. =)

I like Finley. I think it sounds cute, and they could always go by Finn if they wanted a more solid and not as cute sounding name.

I like Finley (spelled this way). Even though I prefer Finn/Fionn by itself, Finley is the only Fin- name I really like that much. Spelling it Finlay makes me want to pronounce it fin-lay, which sounds quite odd.
