[Opinions] Roger?
Do you like Roger?
Could you picture a boy in the sandpit or is it 'reserved' for grumpas only?
Does it goes well wiyh Alan?
If I like this name what are the other names I might like as well?

Up front, I'm going to disclose its my dad's name. Having told you my bias, I really do love it.I could see a little boy being named Roger. I don't know of anyone "grandpa" aged to have the name Roger though. More middle-aged I guess. Roger Alan sounds nice.

I like Roger. I may be a bit partial because a good friend of my best friend has that name. He's three years younger than me, so I can see it on people of any age. I think it goes well with Alan.

I don't like Roger, but I could picture it on a little boy. It goes very well with Alan, either as a sibling or in a fn/mn combo. You might like Edward, Frank, Conrad, Donna, Joanne, or Sally.

It's my father's name . . .. . . and because of that I do find it very hard to imagine it on a small boy. Not impossible, but very difficult. It means "Dad" to me so that doesn't work too well on a little kid :-DI like the sound of it, and I think it could be fresh and even popular in a few more years.

I understund what you are saying - Thaddeus it my dad's name and it can be only his name :-)I think Roger will come back in couple of years...which is good I believe :-)

I'm not a fan of Roger. It reminds me of an SNL skit including ghost hunters and gas.I knew a Roger while I was young (I'm only sixteen-- so about four years ago), so yeah I can imagine a young Roger.Roger Alan sounds great.Maybe Christine. Just a guess, since the Roger I knew had a twin named Christine.
