Just a note, I didn't use names that had strictly French origins (whatever that means)--I used names that are commonly used on babies born in France today. So you'll see plenty of Irish, Arab, Italian, and interestingly-spelled names alongside the old "French" standbys. LNs are the 25 most common surnames in France.
