I like Addison, but only for a middle name and only for a boy.
My favorite boy combo using this name is Chandler Addison, *and it came from a Cabbage Patch Doll.. of all things!*

I know a male Addison who is currently about 17. I associate the name very strongly with him, and I can't see it on a girl. I see it on a lanky, bookish kid with glasses. On boys, it strikes me as cute but malleable as the kid ages. On girls, it seems a little pretentious.
