I'm looking for information on the surname Eifiore. I think it's Italian.

I can't find any reference to this name anywhere, not even on Google. You wouldn't mean Difiore by any chance?

It was listed in the California Death Index as someone's maiden name.

My guess is that it's a misprint for Difiore. Notice that the letters and are right next to each other on a keyboard.

You could be right. I have noticed minor misspellings on there before.
