I do really like this name, but I prefer it for a girl.

I like the sound. It's kind of cool, too. But it makes me think of three things: A surfer dude, a tropical pina colada type of beverage or an exotic Hawaiian ice cream flavor.

I like it, but on a girl.
I like Kalani Nova, but again, it's all girl to me.

I really like Kalani. I am a big fan of Hawaiian names though

I love Kalani for a boy, the only thing for me is that its a bit trendy for a girl here at the moment. Its not hugely popular but there have been a few girls and boys with the name.
