It's meaning is unknown, but it most likely means "to destroy" or "murder". Lots of baby name sites will give fake meanings to names that either have unfortunate meanings, or unknown meanings. The definition you found is probably made up as a result of Persephone's roll in Greek mythology. But it most definitely does not mean "She who brings the fruits".
