With a sister named Plaid? *g* Kidding.
1. It's not my style, and not the sort of name I'd have as a GP (although I do like Sterling. Go figure). I think it sounds a little unsubstantial as a name. It might work better as a middle name if it was a family name of some sort.

4. August Rose suggested Paisley and Sterling, which I think does sound nice together.
