Ariel’s Keep-Up-Yourself Congrats: Round I
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ariel’s Note
Welcome to my Congrats! Ariel’s Congrats, for the record, ended for being too complicated/annoying to keep up, and because I can’t keep track of all the people who have been dropping out lately. Sowwies! :(
I decided to start another Congrats game. However, this game may be just as to a little less complicated as the other one. I’m just taking out my least favorite part – keeping track of people’s families and ages! Anyone can play, and can start at any time, as long as they are willing to keep track of their own family. You don’t have to tell me if you’re dropping out, either. :)

Rules for this Round
During Round 1, we will…
> Name the DH
> Name the DW
> Give them a surname(s)
> Give them characteristics.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Step 1:
First, we are going to name the DH. *cheers*
Ok, moving on…
Pick a Color:
Red: D S
Orange: K Z
Yellow: G N Y
Green: B R
Blue: L P
Indigo: FW
Purple: J V
Pink: A Q X
Brown: H O
Grey/Gray: C M
Black: I U
White: E T
Those are the initials you are being given. If you got three initials, then you can use all three, or delete whichever one you don’t want. :o) You can put the initials in any order, than choose any name with those initials from the following links…
http://www.behindthename.com/nmc/bibl_m.php,
http://www.behindthename.com/nmg/unisex.php, or
http://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/200it1427.php
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Step 2:
Next *you guessed it* -- we’re naming the DW!
Go to this awesome website:
http://www.nymbler.com/Put in the inspirations a GP, a name you love, a name you don’t like or dislike, a name you hate, and the first name that pops into your head.
Set it to female. Choose any two names within the first three pages.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Step 3:
Now we’re going to pick a surname. Here’s what you do:
So, you click on this lovely link:
http://surnames.behindthename.com/top/ Click on any link from a country you don’t live in, in real life. Choose a surname. Hyphenations are allowed, and you can choose a surname for the DW, too.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Step 4:
This is the final step. This one is the most fun, in my opinion.
> Choose an eye color for each spouse (
brown, green, or blue)
> Choose a hair color for each spouse (
blonde, brown, black, or red)
Optional:
> Choose an occupation for each. (Stay-at-home parent/unemployed is acceptable.)
> Choose their ages.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
So, your set up should look something like this (with optional things italicized)
LN: Smith
DH: Scott Abraham [
25]
-Green Eyes
-Black Hair
-
DoctorDW: Anna Miriam [
25]
-Brown Eyes
