There are some names I really like but only if I pronounce them the way I want ;) LOL. Do you have any names you really like but went "Oh, no!" when you realised how it is suppose to be pronounced.
Mine:Eamon - I want to say it like Ee-mon. Don't like Ay-mon at all
Rhys - Thought for a long time that it was pronounced like RYE-s. I was sad when I realised it was just a different spelling of
ReeseKeir - want to say it like Keer not
Kerr.
Love Keer, hate
Kerr.
Euan - supposed to be O-in or Yo-in. I only like it pronounced like You-an
And I have to mention that the first time I saw the name
Caoimhe I pronounced it like Kay-omi (rhymes with
Naomi) *shakes head* I still like that pronounciation but realise that it's sooo wrong.
