I must say, I do not understand how this is working. I rolled 3 and 5 from http://random.org/dice/?num=2 . What makes one family lucky and the other not? And one of the unlucky events is not having children but a lucky one is having a child, so I didn't know if I was supposed to give a child or not? Are we supposed to write about them?

Ok, I assued ths would be confusing. It's kind of a test, you know, to see if branding the family "Unlucky" will actually cause them to be unlucky. So, since I flipped tails twice, both of the families would have to take the unlucky events for the corresponding numbers.

Okay so it's like an experiment?

My first family got 3 so they got eight kids.

Does my second family just not get kids and gets audited?

Yes. Odd, I know, but I figured it'd be fun to see where it ended up (hint, the audit takes a toll).
