[Opinions] Sian-pronounciation
how in the world is this name pronounced....i have a friend with a daughter named sian/siân alaysia but she pronounces it 'see-yon' because of the accent on the 'a'...but i've also heard of it pronounced a sharn...so how exactly is this name pronounced?

all of these comments are really interesting - I think it of it as 'Sharn' - but the only two girls I know with the name - both pronounce it 'See-Ann'.

According to this website (and some comments left by Welsh people) it's pronounced SHAHN - kind of like Sean is pronounced Shawn.
