[Opinions] Re: a BA in yesterdays paper

Woah, a for real Garion? Yikes!Garion is the main character in two of David Eddings' epic 5-book fantasy series, The Belgariad and The Mallorean. I really like the sound of the name Garion, but I would NEVER use it, any more than I'd use Aragorn or Faramir or any other fantasy name. *is surprised*I don't mind Miles or Grace, and Helen is really nice. Angel, Sharon and Gary are really nmsaa, and Kiyan is just plain weird.

I actually thought....That Garion was a combination of the parent's names. Gary [Gari] and Sharon. I guess it could be either, but thats what *I* first thought.

Hmm, interesting point . . .It could be a combination of Gary and Sharon, and merely a coincidence that it's the same as a David Eddings character's name.Fascinating :D

I agree with what you said about kiyan and it looks like some one just stuck a 'y' in Kian

Kiyan is a Iranian name - and means 'of kings'. It's now often referred to as meaning 'little king' - after being Americanised.
