[Opinions] Magenta
What do you think? Interesting and lovely or laughable and tacky on a real child? I'm sure it will remain on my GP list, but I really like it.Combo ideas:
Magenta Camille
Magenta Vivien
Magenta Caroline
Magenta Iris (lovely sound, too bad about the "pink eye" thing, huh?! lol)

I don't think it's awful - I could see it on a person, though I'd raise an eyebrow. It's got a good meaning. It's terrific compared to some awful names I see on real humans. It's better than Galaxy or Bamboo, 2 kids I know.I like Magenta Caroline.Elizabeth Magenta

My roommate's friend actually knows a Magenta. She's in her twenties.

Imo, laughable and tacky. I think that it should just remain on you GP list. But that's just me.Camille and Vivien sound nice though.

I don't mind it, but only for a mn. I just can't see it as a fn.

Oh, I love it, too. I'm big on names of colors that are just plain cool. Magenta Vivien is definately my favorite. It's brilliant.

There's a character in the movie "Sky High" that's named this. (Does not admit to seeing the movie!) It's a GP for me - I don't dislike it, but it just doesn't work on a real person for me. I'd put it in the same category as Azura or Sapphira - pretty, but a guilty pleasure, rather than a real name.Magenta Caroline has a great flow.
