HollisI think it adds more of a different sound to the sib set if that makes any sense. It's different enough to stand on it's own but has the same kind of feel to pull off the sib set.

Hollis, definitely.

Ditto.

I like Ivy. Avery is done to death and masculine-sounding, and Hollis is probably only alluring to some people because of trendy Hollister clothing (whose clothes incidently looks like every other store's).

LOL, Hollister didn't even enter my mind actually, that's funny. Laurel, Oliver, and Ivy is cute, but I don't really like Ivy (or Avery) that much. Do you have any other suggestions?

Laurel, Oliver and:I'd choose something else with six letters:Amelia
Carrie
Dahlia
Esther
Hannah
Imogen
Ingrid
Judith
Marian
Rachel
SallieI think I'd choose Imogen, Ingrid or Rachel. I always thought Rachel and Laurel would be adorable twin names.

I know, Hollis had six letters, but I just can't use it now...Rachel and Laurel would be cute twins, lol... I thought of Dahlia too, but I wasn't sure about it. Thanks for the suggestions, I like most of them :D

IvyLaurel, Oliver and Ivy. It's a bit botanical, but I just don't like Avery or Hollis for a girl. They are male names, to me.

That's why I'm trying to find another name to go because so many say that Hollis is a boys name. And even though I like Hollis for a girl, a daughter might want to kill her mother for naming her that, lol. And I do not like Holly...didn't really like Ivy or Avery either, but can't seem to find the right name...if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks for your thoughts.

Thanks for the suggestions, I was thinking or April, and Iris, but they weren't perfect, lol, and Iris is a little too Botanical (as is Ivy)...There are so many choices, it gets so difficult to pick anything. Thanks for your time :D

Uhhhm, well it depends which gender you're using them for.Hollis is a -boys- name in my opinion. and therefore, yes, use it for a boy and not a girl. it'd sadden me to see one of my future sons middle name son a little girl.Avery has grown on me for a girl, mostly because I have a neice called Avery. but yes, it is a boys name and I think I prefer it on a boy.and I just dislike everything about Ivy.

Thanks for your thoughts, Hollis and Avery are actually unisex names though, and I actually like Hollis for a girl, its kind of cute. Avery and Ivy I didn't really like, but was trying to find other names that might go.

Ivy.

Ivy, because...Laurel, Oliver and Hollis would all have that open "au" sound in them.
So that eliminates the original combo, imo.
And as for Avery, I don't find the name very female, it's OK, but Oliver and Avery sound so... similar, because of the same stress, I guess.
I find Hollis better than Avery but Ivy even prettier.
First combo.

Laurel, Oliver, and Hollis.I hate Avery on either gender, but especially on a girlAnd with Ivy, it makes the sibset too themey.

Thanks for your opinion, Ivy and Avery are NMSAA anyway but I was just trying to find other names that might go.
