With Marisa it'll be Mah-ree-sa, due to the single 's'.
With Marissa it'll be Mah-rissa, due to the double 's'.
I'm Danish, and no I don't know any Marisa's or Marissa's, apart from the ones who is celebrities or characters in movies/TV series.
