How about Ava? Octavia has the same 'ayv' sound that Ava has. There's also Avie (AYV-ee.)
I'm not fond of Caddy for Cordelia, personally. Caddy seems too bright and shiny for Cordelia. I'd prefer Cora for Cordelia.

Ava would work. Avie also works, I like it better than Ava. It might grow on me, although it is a bit pretty.
I like Cora a lot but on its on right. It doesn't feel very nicknamey to me at all. If Cordelia had a cor-based nickname at all it would be Corrie, and I dislike that. If it wasn't Caddy it would be Della or Delia. I don't think she'd get a permanent nickname though.
