I think Tina is an underated name. I've been thinking about it a lot latley because I'm fallen in love with Tina Fey.

Tina Fey is half Greek and her name is short for Stamatina.

What are your thoughts on Tina? and tell me your favorite full names for Tina.

Tina, by itself, is used quite often where I live(a French-speaking area). It works well in both French and English.)I like it, a pretty name.

Tina Fey made me like this name too! Her first name is actually Elizabeth and Stamatina is her mn.
I like it just as a full name.
Valentina isn't bad.

I really dislike Tina, and I disagree with previous posters who feel that it can stand on its own. It sounds like half a name to me. Also, I just don't like the sound of it.

Christina is probably the most common one but really it can stand on its own. I have a friend named Tina Marie.

My friend's name is Martiana (mar-tee-AH-nuh) and she has the nn Tina. I think it's adorable and original, yet entirely recognized to be a name.

I can't think of many others but I know a Catriona who gets shortened to 'Tina'. Also maybe Martina (or Martine), Justine and maybe Trinity (but thats a bit of a push and Trina would work better there).

I like Tina; my brother had a classmate with this name. I also like Stina, a Swedish name.
