I know this was touched on slightly in the Middle Eastern names thread, but my question is slightly more specific. First, do you like this name? Additionally, I'm curious which spelling or variant you prefer. Last, do you think this name works on a person who is not of Middle Eastern descent in the U.S. today?

I like it, and I'm strongly considering adding it to my PNL. I think I prefer the Layla spelling, though.
