I love the sound of LAY-lah, though I don't care for the Layla spelling. Laila is nice, but I tend to want to pronounce it LYE-lah. I think Leila is my favorite spelling, which I also prn. LAY-lah, but for years I think it was always prn. LEE-lah. :-/ Very confusing. lol

Leila seemed intuitive to me because of leis - the Hawaiian flower necklace thingys. I like the sound of LAY-lah much more than LEE-lah.
