I think its the worst day of the week, and definitely not for a first name cause it seems like the parent couldn't think up a real name for her...

"Monday morning feels so bad - everybody seems to nag me" that's the first thing I think of when I her Monday. I've sung that song many times... ;)
To be honest I don't like it at all as a first name. While I think it's ok to use months as names I don't like week days, it just feels so...like giving a child a number.
I think Mona could work as a nn and if I were to use Monday as a first name I would make sure I had a more 'normal' or ordinary name as a middle name.

I was born on a Monday, and I'm a Cancer, which is ruled by the moon, after which Monday was named. It would have been an appropriate name for me. I'd prefer it to Sunday, because I hate Sundays. Actually, I can't really see any day of the week as a personal name, despite Tuesday Weld.

I don't like it. It reminds me of Wednesday from the Addams Family.

Isn't that what people consider to be the worst day of the week? :) Other than that, it's kind of cute.

It reminds me of the word "mundane." Also, a lot of people have negative connotations with Mondays, so it's really not for me.
