I once admitted that I loved the name Ginger to a pregnant friend of mine. Once.
No one else I know even likes the name. But I love soft "g" sounds and you get two for the price of one with Ginger. Add to that the zippy quality of a feminine name ending in an "-er" and I'm sold.
Ginny is a darling nn and is a natural fit with Ginger.
