I adore the name Ignatius. Iggy is a cute nn, but I feel almost insulted on Ignatius' behalf that he's only being used as a vehicle for the nn Iggy.
Seriously, I can come up with some Ignatius combos. But it also occurs to me that there might be some other formal names that you like better for the nn Iggy:
Sigmund / Sigismund
Siegfried
Gregory
Digby
Padraig ("PAH-drig")
Gideon
Diego
Inigo (In the Spanish pronunciation, it doesn't contain the "ig" sound. But it is a form of Ignatius so I think you could carry it off. Or, just use the English pr., "IN-i-go.")
