[Opinions] Surprisingly few names...
so in this BA we seem to have themes for the girls:Nouns magically becoming names!:
November - not terrible, there are worse months (February, anyone?)
Meadow - actually a GP of mine
Mirakle - come on, at least spell it right!
Jurney - this child will forever be seen as a typo.
Sway
Vision
Holland
London
Bristol
Shakota (I assume this is derived from Dakota...)
Sahara - very pretty name. Boys names, or so we thought...:
Elijah x2 - Wonderful on a boy. Leave it there.
Preston
Avery - Again, really nice boys name. Why?
Micah/Michah - There should be a rule: if its in the Bible on a man, little girls should not wear it.
Campbell - It's a last name. On a boy, it's a bit of a stretch. On a girl?
Marley - ditto above.
Dylan - what's with the pot-smoking guitarists being good namesakes for your daughters?
Kai x3 - actually really cool name. For a BOY.
Aries - ditto above again!Let's add a y! Why? Y indeed!:
Octaysia - gorgeous name. No y needed.
Ashtyn - kinda a boys name, kinda a name no one knows where to put.
Khryzyl - Is this Crystal? Gristle? I'm hoping its foreign, cause there's NO VOWELS.That's a name?:
Leighton - Was this really a name before the show?
Kyanne - hmm... sounds kinda pretty, but it's pepper. Spicy pepper. spelled way wrong. What's this? A real name? (mind you, there's all of 3.):
Holly - I actually know a man named Holly, and it works. Predominantly female, and a nice one at that.
Elizabeth - Classic, and there's a bazillion nns to go with it.
Agnes x2 - Awesome! See, why do people have to make stuff up when there's gems like this lying around in dusty corneres begging to be used?
Acoda - what is this? My eyes try to read anaconda, but get confused.
Jett & Tripp - well, the extra consonant on both names just puts this over the top.
Artimus - yay for mythology! oh wait, She was a virgin goddess of hunting. And was spelled Artemis. There are so many awesome Greek gods!
Orion - Like this one. btw, Arion looks like a typo.
Aries - and this one too!
Elias - wonderful name. has a nice history, but sounds current enough.
Rook, King - yay for chess!
Aadon - Aidan is a nice name. Aiden even seems reasonable.
Nova - wonderful name. on a girl!
Laynie - again, this doesnt even sound like a name. on a girl.
Winter - kinda cute. on a girl though.
Stryker - I can't help but think of Camp Stryker in Baghdad. At least its on a boy I suppose.
Jad - this is actually kinda cute.
German - some last names lend themselves fairly well to first names. this one doesn't.
Wrigley - ln
D'Artagnan - ln
Wilder - ln, kinda cute though.
Sirrough - come on. Did the parents not sound this out?
Hoochee Kiatoukaysy - I'm hoping this is ethnic.
Elijah - great name.
Kinkade - another last name in disguise.
Ridge x4: The Bold and the Beautiful, anyone? Where's Thorn?Holland
Jericho
Indiana
Jerusalem
Stockton
London - lovely places to visit. Find another name, one that actually goes on a child.Any thoughts? Agree, or think I'm crazy?

completely agree...Except Kai isn't cool. Kai is food. Makes me want to say..."Me and Bazza are off to the shop to get us some Kai"

Lol! Me too! Same with Kaia, which I really want to like, but it sounds like a passive verb form for 'eat'. *loves having fellow kiwis on BtN*
