[Opinions] Very pleasant BA
A few days ago, my mom's friend had a daughter. They had been told / officially declared / whatev Infertile and had adopted two children from Russia only a year or two ago. Their names are:
Jack Bunting (birth name Yuri) (Bunting is, of couse, family)
Julia Marie (birth name Anya)
and then lo and behold! pregnancy.
The mother's name is Jennifer Bea nn Jenny Bea.
The name they had picked out was Abigail Bea. JB's husband had insisted on the Bea, even though their last name begins with Bea- and it was quite amusing when JB married him. She was to be called Abby and possibly Abby Bea.
Nope! She is named:
Catherine Jane.
I am pleased! (Not sure of the Catherine spelling, but I really hope it's that, it looks so much nicer than any other spelling I could think of.) Jack, Julia, and Catherine sounds much more timeless than Jack, Julia, and Abby IMO. I think *I* might have preferred Catherine Beatrice nn Catie Bea OMG CUTE! but I... like her name.
They are not sure if she will have a nickname, btw.

I like it even better than Catherine Beatrice.
Catherine is not my favorite spelling. I much prefer Katharine as my favorite spelling.
I'm sorry, but I'm really starting to hate Beatrice as a middle name. I really like it on a FN-only basis. Jane has been said to be boring, but I love it - love, love, love it!
Abby Bea? NMSAA. And quite silly-sounding as Abby Bea Bea. The only thing that would make it worse would be Abby Bea Bea Gun.

Catherine Jane is beauitful
I love it. I like Julia Marie...but I fully admit to far preferring Anya and Yuri. By far.
Great names, though.

and this spelling is my favourite. Jane is a nice mn, but not a good fn. Catherine Jane flows nicely, however.
Eh.
I really don't like Catherine. Katharine, yes, but not with a C and an E in the middle. Catherine Jane is fine enough for someone else, but it's nothing I'm about to rave about.
The idea of Abby Bea Bea, however, belongs in a children's book. I love it. ;)

I prefer Katherine and don't care for Bea. Catherine is rather boring but OK.
Nice combo in my opinion (with Catherine being one of my favorites as well)!
I love it! I suppose I'd slightly prefer Katherine Jane (just because I think with the C it looks like it would be SAH-the-rine, one of my quirks), but that's nitpicking. And I totally agree with you that Catherine Beatrice would be FABULOUS! The best of both worlds, right? Anyway, I like Jack and Julia, but also like Yuri and Anya. I have two cousins that were adopted from Russia, one of whom is named Henning (previously Vladimir) and the other is Graeme, but I don't know his original name.
Catherine (my name!) Jane is very sweet, even though I would've liked Catherine Beatrice loads better. No matter, she has a boast-worthy name, and congrats to the family. :)
Ooh, I didn't realize your name was Catherine. That's mine too!
Well, hello to a fellow Catherine! :)
I agree it is a very nice sib set and Catie Bea would have been very cute. Abigail Bea would have been too many B's.
Those are all very lovely names.
And the pregnancy after adopting thing happens more often then people are aware of.
My mother, who is a midwife (with a masters degree), says that she theorizes, and many in the ob-gyn field agree, that its stress, and stress hormones on both people in the couple who are desperate that can cause infertility. Its funny to me, but also really cool when it happens that way. Yay for them!

Oh, that's lovely! Abby Bea Bea- would be terrible I think. Substituting Beatty for whatever their last name is, that would be Abby Bea Beatty. A-beebeebee-tee. Reminds me of Nancy Ann Cianci, who married some mayor named John Cianci. Nancy-ancy-ancy. Sigh.
Jack, Julia and Catherine is so wonderful! I especially love Jane. I'm glad they didn't go for another J name, too. Catherine Beatrice or Beatrice Jane would've been my preference, if not for their last name. Still, wonderful!

Isn't Nancy a nn for Anne?
Yes, which makes it even worse! Ugh.
