...It took me some time to learn to love my name. Now, though, I simply can't fathom the idea of having any other. ♥
The single best combo for Amy is, of course, Amy Rae, but I should hate to have too many doppelgangers out there, and so I'll suggest alternatives. ;) Amy Gwendolen is nice, though I'd prefer Amy Gwendolyn.
Amy Gloria
Amy Jean (which is what my sister sometimes calls me)
Amy Laurette
Amy Rowena
Amy Astraea
Amy Theodosia
Amy Vivian
Amy Florence
Amy Jewel
Amy Sophronia
Amy Dahlia
Amy Indigo (there's a
song, you see, which is just charming:

Amy Eulalia
Amy June
Amy Winifred
Amy Celesta
Amy Ruth
Amy Helen
Amy Yarrow
Amy Marigold
Given that it's been well used within the past fifty years, I would want to see it with something that highlights its old-fashioned roots. Either long and elegant or short and down-home, you know? So I think you're on the right track with Gwendolen.
