Sorry to be so negative, but....
I absolutely loathe initial nicknames on girls (or anyone really). As a playful, once in a while kind of thing, it's not that bad. But to use initials in the place of a real name is just lazy and IMHO, ugly. It just screams "trailer-park" to me.
That said, I am all for making sure initials don't spell anything bad, and making sure they sound good together.
It seems such a waste to have a beautiful feminine name, and then go by something as impersonal as two letters.
