Noa Esmé is a 7-year-old girl from Seattle, WA. She likes reading, drawing, and swimming. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Jonathan "Jon" Christophe and Avril Helena are 17 and 1-year-old father and daughter from Chicago, IL. Jon likes guitar, writing, and hanging out with Avril. He has brown eyes and brown hair. Avril has black wispy hair and blue eyes.

It's been a year since we adopted Noa, Jade, and Jon. (We didn't legally adopt Avril-- she's Jon's child).
Jon and Tirzah have bonded quite a bit, both being young parents. Avril is very happy playing with her [younger than her] uncle, Isidore, and cousins Jude and Noah. We're looking into college for Jon, Tirzah, Jaye, and Parisa now-- it's very exciting. We're assuming that Jude, Noah, and Avril will be staying home with Larry and I while their parents are at school.
Noa switched her first and middle names a bit after we got her (she said she liked Esmé better anyway, people sometimes thought she was a boy when they read her name as Noa). Noa having a nephew named Noah in the same house got confusing. So Esmé, Stella, Anna, and Susannah are all becoming very close. They spend a lot of time drawing and painting together.
Jade and Zakiah have bonded as well, knowing they'll be the oldest kids in the house in about 2 years. They have a lot of the same friends, and are often going out with them.
