Astrid is definitely sexy. I see a tall, dark girl with legs that go on forever and an outgoing smile. I too used to think it was ugly but for some reason I've formed a different opinion.
Ingrid however I still think is ugly, heh. But not iredeemably ugly as you say. For me, Ingrid is one of those that can only work on the perfect person. In other words, she *has* to be sexy and outgoing for it to be fitting.
