Elijah Luke [newborn], Allegra Clare [15], and Kathleen Mathilde "Lena" [15]
Elijah was born one week ago today to a young mother, Lena. Elijah has blue eyes and thick dark hair. Lena had a relationship with an older guy and it ended in an unplanned pregnancy, and the guy leaving her over it. She is still a bit torn up about it, as she cared about him very much. He has refused to make any contact with Lena and it is quite clear that he does not want any part in Elijah's upbringing. Lena plays the trumpet and has a real knack for it. She hopes to be a pediatrician one day. Lena has long, wavy dark hair and blue eyes.
Lena and her twin sister Allegra have been bounced from home to home because of Allegra's disabilities, and they were finally kicked out again because of Lena's pregnancy. Allegra has Down Syndrome, and many parents the girls have lived with have found that they cannot cope. Allegra has a great sense of humor and is incredibly loyal to her sister. She is very protective over both Elijah and Lena (as she is 12 minutes Lena's senior). She and Lena are identical, but Allegra has short hair.
