Some people are better Meg's than Peggy's and I wouldn't rule out nicknames if they suited her better.
Out of them all my favourites are Meg, Maggie and Peggy. The only one I really dislike is Madge. I also like Margaret as a full name along with nns Mar, Griet, Maisie and maybe even M.
